Introduction to Human Resources Management in Apparel Industries

SMART Textile & Garments supports Myanmar Garment Manufacturers Association (MGMA) in organizing HR Management Level 1 training on 11th to 13th March at GTI and MGHRDC Training Centre. This 3-day training is mainly delivered by MGMA’s trainers who have been given ToTs by SMART’s technical experts and the training targeted to become effective HR managers, to be used effective recruitment processes complied with legal requirements, develop performance appraisal tools to improve capacity building and boost workers motivation as well as to be integrated HR into overall management systems.

The contents of this 3-day training include HR management system components, employee retention strategies, recruitment, selection and induction, compensation and bonuses system as well as performance appraisal system and training and development programs. The participants will gain as benefits to improve their factories' HR team capacity, eliminate the risks during the recruitment such as fake ID card, hire right person for the right position, reduce monthly staff turnover and helps to reduce expenses due to increased work efficiency.

The training is conducted in Myanmar language with some English contents and 26 persons from local and foreign factories participated in this training and awarded by completed certificates.
