SMART Myanmar will again be hosting a workshop on "Human Resources Management Level 1" on June 26th, 27th and 28th. As part of the SMART Management Systems Lab Series, this 3-day workshop is designed especially for garment factory HR, social compliance and administrative staff, although GMs and top management are also welcome and often attend. The workshop covers the core policies and procedures needed to conform with the BSCI social compliance standard, especially how to apply this standard within the legal context in Myanmar, as well as offers a primer on root cause analysis methods, continuous improvement approaches in factory management and best practices in workplace communications. SMART's local partner, the Myanmar Garment Manufacturers Association, will be hosting this next workshop at their training center on the compound of the Government Technological Institute in Insein Township, Yangon.
SMART Myanmar's experienced trainers and technical experts have conducted factory assessments and consultancy projects with over 120 garment, textile and footwear factories in Myanmar. Participants participating in all 3-days of the workshop will receive a certificate of completion for the workshop.
This workshop is taught in Myanmar language, with some presentation materials in English. The workshop participation fee is 100,000 MMK per participant (all-inclusive fee for all 3 days, includes lunch). Participants from factories currently or previously enrolled in SMART's long-duration on-site programmes can request a 50% discount (50,000 MMK only).
