On March 11th-13th, SMART Textile & Garments will conduct a workshop on "Human Resources Management in Apparel Industries". This 3-day workshop introduces participants to HR management systems directly suitable within garment and footwear factories and is especially relevant for HR and social compliance staff, but also for interested GMs and top management. Some specific topics covered include: employee retention strategies, recruitment, selection and induction, compensation and bonuses system, performance appraisal system, as well as worker training and development programs.
This workshop will be held at the GTI Training Center of Myanmar Garment Manufacturers Association (MGMA) in Insein Township and is taught in Myanmar language with some English language material contents. The workshop participation fee is 120 EUR per participant, payable in Myanmar kyat or EUR. H&M covers 50% of the cost for their suppliers (60 EUR per person for active H&M supplier factories).
