On May 21st and 22nd SMART Myanmar and the Ethical Trading Initiative (ETI) are pleased to once again organize Managing Across Cultures a 2-day interactive workshop designed for garment and footwear industry top management. The topics covered in this workshop include:
- Understanding Myanmar culture
- Managing in a cross-cultural workplace
- Effective workplace communications and grievance mechanisms
- Legal requirements on freedom of association in Myanmar
Managing Across Cultures will again be taught in Chinese Mandarin by SMART Myanmar Senior Technical Expert Nancy Feng. Nancy has over 10 years of experience consulting and training factory managers in Myanmar and China on social compliance, workplace communications and labour relations.
